PO postcode derbies seem to be a bit like London buses this week - you wait a while for one to come along and then two come along at once.

First it was Moneyfields away last Saturday and on Tuesday night it is Horndean at home - and this will be no less an important game than the FA Vase encounter was at the weekend.

This is only the Royals' seventh league game in what has been the first two months of the season so there is some catching up to do as far as Wessex League Premier Division matches is concerned.

Portchester enjoyed a 4-2 win over Horndean in the FA Cup at the beginning of August but you know the Deans will be heading down the A3 keen to avenge that defeat. It promises to be another interesting evening of local derby action to enjoy or endure, depending on the outcome at the full time whistle.
