The AFC Portchester Tournament will take place at Wicor Recreation Ground, Cranleigh Road, Portchester, Fareham, Hampshire on Saturday 8th July and Sunday 9th July 2023.

Thank you for all who have applied to enter. We will welcome 168 Boys/Mixed Teams and 56 Girls Team to our festival of football from Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Sussex, Dorset, Wiltshire, Surrey and Warwickshire.

All of the sections are now full, and reserve lists are in place across most age groups. If any spaces do come available they will be offered to those on the list before being advertised here.

All clubs will receive joining instructions by 19th June 2023.

The Tournament will cater for the Under 7 to Under 15 age groups (2023/24 season age groups – NEXT SEASON), with timings as follows:

Morning registration is between 8.15am and 8.45am, with matches played from 9.00am to 1.00pm (latest)

Afternoon registration is between 1.45pm and 2.15pm, with matches played from 2.30pm to 6.00pm (latest)

We intend to run separate leagues for each age group with an eventual winner from each league.

All competitors in the U7 and U8 age groups will receive a memento of the day.

The competition on both days will be ‘six-a-side’ from U9 upwards, with squad sizes limited to ten players. U7 and U8 teams will play ‘five-a-side’ in accordance with FA Rules.
