Sidlesham 1-3 AFC Varndeanians

A stag do had weakened Sidlesham's team by three starting players and we came to their ground with a strong squad so we were confident that we could gain all three points and so it proved. overall our performance was satisfying as despite not scoring for 36minutes we kept patient and played some nice football with our wide players Luke Manley and 'Pearlo' playing well and receiving plenty of possession.

Our first goal was a tidy finish from Luke who has persevered when many would have got frustrated and has deservedly established a place in the team. He scored his brace on 84 minutes with a lovely volley while the ever reliable Joe Keehan popped up with a goal on the 75th minute. Pearlo managed 60 minutes until his calf muscles said no more and Kev is trying to worked out how we can get 90 minutes out of him this season.

Sidlesham spoilt Tom Bradford's clean sheet in the 91st minute but overall a comfortable victory.
