The V's put on another good display to win on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday

This bank holiday Monday morning fixture certainly saw Kev utilise the squad to it's full extent, but the depth of talent and commitment of players, who don't start every week, is so good Kev was confident and determined to get a positive result.

The pitches this year time of year are always a challenge and with Seaford being on a slope from one wing to the other it took a while for us to get going. Our best outlet was Dom on the right and while we began to gain more possession we weren't creating anything clear cut, apart from a shot Kev had, which is still making it's way to Worthing.

After 30 mins and with the game beginning to tip our way Matt Waterman scored a wonderful goal hitting the ball early and looping it over the keepers head to nestle in the bottom corner. From then on the result didn't look in any doubt as Matt added another and Dom Hemblade tucked away a neat finish.Scott Packer curled in a lovely free kick from the edge of the area while Kev hit a shot that is still on it's way to Hastings but good that he covered the south coast.

Brocky came on for a cameo appearance and nearly got a touch to score a goal. We conceded a late goal to blemish our record but 3 points well earned and a happy easter
