Having already beaten Worthing Town three times this season in league and Cups we had it in our mind to keep focussed and get up for the game as they are a much improved side with young players who give energy to the game for 90 minutes. We managed to score goals at the right time throughout the match with Ollie Blackman on 15, Waterman on 24 and Luke Manley sealing the game on 76minutes scoring our goals. Worthing hit a late consolation as we won 3-1.
The game was far from a simple matter as Worthing Town had chances and plenty of possession but their discipline let them down at times with two sin bins which ultimately cost them. We ourselves had been prone to a lack of discipline regarding sin bins at the start of the season but the players have learnt from this which no doubt the Worthing players will do as well.
In the end it was a comfortable 3 points as we maintain second place in the league.
