It's that time of year again when I should be on holiday but unfortunately due to the commie games I had to take my leave early and now it is done and pre season is upon us. Did a couple of session before I went away and was impressed with the drills and training provided but the new management and coaching team. There was a good turnout on Monday also and some very good players have been attending the session so lets hope they sign and help us take the club forward.

Good to see the majority of the current squad re-signing with only Badger deaprting for pastures new at St Bernards where i am sure he will enjoy walking three and half miles with the goals every second saturday to the footballing mecca and slick green surface that is at Muirhouse. All the best mate I enjoyed playing in the same team as you and loved your frequent outbursts at yourself.

Tonight sees our first proper pre season game against tough Premier Division opponents Sandy's and will also give the coaching staff a chance to see how or where the new players will fit should they sign up. I am sure the lush pastures at the Jack Kane footballing academy will be buzzing with the sound of stolen motor bikes and the occasional fly past by the police helicopter.

Lets work hard tonight and get a good workout. Big Baz might even come along to watch.
