Glendale Youth play in the third division of the Aberdeen Amatuer set up and are flying high in second place with seven wins and a draw from their opening eight league games so will be coming full of confidence.

A few forced changes for manager Barrett today with Doig (bruised ribs) Barnett (torn ab muscle) Marko (working) Waugh (working) and Brown (suspended). Thankfully we have a large squad although John Quinn has decided to seek regular football elsewhere whilst former player Stevie Gray returns to the club and looks likely to take his place at the heart of defence in place of the suspended Brown.

Lets hope the Alba continue their excellent cup form and progress to the next round, it would be nice to take the club past xmas with an interest in the Scottish.
