Despite low mood in the camp we entertained the thirty or so from Aberdeen at the squash club and a good turn out from our boys to who despite losing eventually managed to raise a smile and a few drinks lightened the dark mood.

The plan was to have a few in the club at the excellent prices and then head into town. What actually happened was we stayed in the club got totally hammered (some worse than others) and I eventually locked up around midnight. Hayden was desperate to go up town as he had had his first shower of the season and McGrogan who had a young childs clothing on, either that or it had shrunk in the wash was also keen to venture into the city centre.

I have no idea if the famous five of Chris, Hayden, Euan, Keith and Andy made it or not but if they did they would not have needed much more in the way of alcohol as we had a good bash at drinking the club totally dry of Furstenburg, Tennents, Magners and Budvar.

A mention for Gary Dalgleish also as he managed to disappear mid conversation never to be seen again about quarter past eight.

Barry Mac may not be out for a while and may even be dead as we speak. He mentioned the cinema with Kerry about half five and left about half ten so good luck with that one Baz.

Barno threatened to come up town but then phoned his bird to come pick him up and she did. I vaguely recall meeting her in the car park and apologise if I said anything bad but from what i remember she was a lovely girl which begs the question why is she with Barno.

Then there is the manager. Step forward Mr Barrett. I have never witnessed someone go from sober to absolutely wrecked in two hours but Mikey managed it. It started with a couple of staggers about and a fall on the floor before a tactical sleep seemed the way forward. He woke from this to chunder in his hands before chundering down the hallway into the toilet and returning to take up sleeping again. After a couple of hours shut eye he woke to be sick again this time trying to catch it in his hands. Apparently the jager and tequila are to blame although he may have missed a round through sleeping.

A good night lads and I seem to recall a poker night being mentioned sometime soon at the squash club. Should be good.
