A much improved performance saw Aldermaston defeat County rivals Shire Hall at Sonning Lane, on Saturday.
Aldermaston got off to a flying start with skipper Elliot Lowe dotting down after just five minutes and two tries by Laurent Crevel, an Ian Martin penalty and a pair of conversions by Kyle Gregory had the visitors 0-22 up at the break.
Shire Hall had their best spell of the match after the break which resulted in two tries and a conversion, but in amongst this, Crevel sprinted in from the half way line to complete his hat-trick.
Two further converted scores, from Rory Laing and Marcus Griffiths, against a tiring defence completed the scoring, Kyle Gregory landing both conversions.
Next up, leaders Chipping Norton come to the Rec.Soc. on Saturday.
