Alloa managed to cobble together a side as injuries and unavailability continue to haunt the club at the moment. But the boys who did pull on the jersey's put in a spirited performance against the high flying Fifers.
The first fifteen minutes of the match actually saw the home side firmly on the front foot but the Glens backs turned over a ball deep in their own half and ran the length of the pitch to open the scoring. A second score quickly followed and despite some periods of Alloa possession it was pretty much one way traffic thereafter with a Marc Murray score just before half time the only consolation.
The match ended on a sour note when Glens Centre, Cammy Goodall suffered a nasty looking ankle injury right on the full time whistle and the Alloa club would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
