Weʼre raising funds towards Alnwick RFC and the Great North Air Ambulance

Rome Olympics, JFK elected, Psycho premiers, Etch-a-Sketch launched and Alnwick RFC reformed!

60 years later, after many famous victories, countless playing honours, a thriving mini and junior section, girls and ladies teams, plus touch rugby, Alnwick is still going strong but we need your help.

To help celebrate our 60th birthday, we have challenged our teams and squads to complete a "1960 Challenge". The Mini/Junior Section and the Ladies/Girls section will each be completing 1960 miles over the course of July either walking, running, swimming or cycling. The senior men, will attempt to complete 1960 laps of the pitch on the last Saturday of July, with many other challenges also taking place throughout the full month.

All funds raised will be split between the club to help keep us going through these difficult times and the Great North Air Ambulance. This vital service relies completely on donations and although we all hope we will never need their service, it is a great comfort to know it is there if required.

I very much appreciate your support.

Emma Adamson,
Chairman and Senior Vice President.
