I apologise for the brevity and somewhat forthright manner of the report, just that I am not blessed with the normal reporter’s silky skills (he’ll be the one smelling of George Best aftershave, unless he’s drunk it!)

The Game:–
Early NOVO’s pressure put Alnwick on the back foot straight away and resulted in a try for NOVO’s, there then came a series of tries for NOVO’s, until a superb solo effort by James Stanley resulted in an Alnwick try. This try came about through a good scrum and retained possession (what the coaching staff want). There then came another batch of NOVO’s tries, mainly as a result of poor tackling and defence.

During daring periods of the game where Alnwick stuck to their tactics, they had parity; unfortunately these periods were short lived.
The motto should be “Stick to the plan Stan!”
A special mention must go to Josh Lowes for his tackling.
