We are delighted to let you know that the Seniors will begin training on Tuesday 30th March and will be training every Tuesday and Thursday for the foreseeable. The M&J's will be returning formally on 4th April and will continue every Sunday Morning again for the foreseeable.
Please find below the official guidance from England Rugby should you wish to read through.
That's everything on the playing side hopefully up and running by this weekend but obviously the Clubhouse and its governance still comes under the lockdown regulations as set by the Government so the earliest we can look to offer any kind of Clubhouse Hospitality is as below;
• Outdoor spaces open from Monday 12 April.
• The rule of six will be in place, meaning you can visit with up to five other people.
• It will be table service only, and everyone must sit outside, only going indoors to use the toilet.
• There will be no requirement to order a “substantial meal” alongside alcohol, as there was in Trafford (tier 3) last December.
Then from 17 May we will be allowed to open indoors again. Groups of no larger than six will be allowed to sit inside, and groups of up to 30 will be allowed outdoors.
Its been a tough time for the club from a Playing, Social and Financial standpoint and it seems the RFU are trying to mitigate this as much as possible by allowing us to extend our season as much as is practical.
