Altrincham Kersal welcomed Bowdon to Stelfox Avenue for the latest match in the North One West League.
Having won away in the Cheshire Cup competition 0-48 at the start of the season Altrincham Kersal were looking forward to playing Bowdon on their home turf.
The game started with a frenetic burst from Bowdon who went ahead with a penalty early on. However, this was quickly countered with a try by Neild following an epic forward drive. The home pack continued to dominate and provide a platform for the backs to demonstrate some very impressive team and individual skills. Two tries from the backs followed with Canham and Burns scoring.
The forwards continued their driving onslaught and the half ended 20-3 when Dyos touched down after a further impressive drive from the pack.
The second half saw yet more pressure being applied by the pack and a score was not long in coming when Whyley hit a sublime line with pace and cut through the defence to score.
Watkins benefited from a driving maul to touch down, with Dyos celebrating his second try on his birthday to repeat his earlier score.
Two final forward tries to Dauncy in succession, who was awarded Player of the Match by the opposition.
The final score was 49-3 which leaves Altrincham exactly at mid point in the table one position below Northwich who have equal points but a slightly better points difference, and very much in touch with a number of teams above.
