We've barely finished the 2017/18 season and already we're looking forward to September and starting all over again...

Amaranth continues to grow as a club, and next season will see us enter 12 teams in various leagues around the County.

We've got a brand new Under 8's team that will be entered in a league football for the first team. Mark and Karl developed the team at Under 7's and will now take the team into a formal league with Garforth Junior Football.

We welcome a brand new Under 9's with Jamie. Several players have already established themselves at Amaranth in different age groups and along with some new faces, will take on the challenge of developing a brand new team.

Our U10's will grow on their success of reaching their first final with Mark and Leem who were matched in their cup final success with what will become our Under11s with Andy and Iain, playing 9v9 format for the first time..

Martyn and Mark will take the U12's on their second spell at 9v9 as Jay and the new U13's move up to the fill size pitches and 11 v 11 format.

Phil, supported by Colin will be pushing on with the team at u14's and Brandy, helped by Colin again will be looking to build on the success this season with the u16's. The U14's nearly folded at the start of the year but have grown into a strong and successful team.

Richard and Paul (and Paul) will be completing Junior football with the U18's who are playing in the Harrogate League.

Next season see's the reintroduction of Saturday football at Amaranth. A former junior player, Ben Potter is returning to the club with a new team to take on the Yorkshire Amateur League. Good luck to the new players that are joining.

Dave and Graham will be continuing to build on the success that Amaranth Crossgates FC are having int he Sunday League. A former Junior team is getting stronger all the time and pulled of some great results this season and our Vets will continue to enjoy their football on a Sunday afternoon.

Finally, Amaranth Soccer School is growing stronger all the time. The players meet every Saturday morning over the summer and winter months - and new players are always welcome, so if you know any 4-7 year olds that want to get into football, invite them down to the club on a Saturday morning. They just need suitable footwear, a drink and shin-pads.
