Another AMCC victory ... run continues

[18/06, 21:43] Will Godalming cricket: 7 and 0 unstoppable on to Shackleford.

We bowled first and again held the opposition in a vice like grip allowing only 122 off 30 overs. Great bowling from Jake who took 3 I think. Dan bowled their best batsman and Leo showed excellent wheels. Credit to Cieran and Archie ( or Archie and Archie ) for solid displays, Finn held them allowing few off many and sorry if I have forgotten anyone.
JC was like a startled rabbit, leaping around and taking any half chance.

The batting was lead out by Jake and Rex. Rex dismissed the Witley attack knocking a flashing 16 before standing aside to allow youth to prosper. Then came Dan, another father son partnership the third in four matches for us. I looked as if they would see us to the end of the match both pushing the field around, Dan dismissively swinging the bat until he was caught. Archie was next knocking a few before being caught leaving Leo to see us home with Finny. A special mention for Jake ( clear man of the match) who gave us a spine with 69 runs
