Jumpers Ants VS Witches Black
24-8
The first quarter proved challenging due to the torrential rain making the court like an ice rink! It was a struggle to keep our footing and to keep a hold of the ball, however we managed to keep an even playing field with the goals.
After a movement of court and a new ball the second quarter was like a fresh start! The rain started to ease and with a strong defence and a dynamic attack our lead started to widen! Our defence team tonight was solid and everyone seemed happy within their roles. This lead to some great interceptions to stop Witches moving forward.
Despite having to change back to the original ball in the third quarter we continued to take the advantage!
Although they changed their Defence we were still able to move closer to the post, enabling lots of conversions with on point shooting! Our attack team tonight was really in sync, recognising each other’s skills and passing to their strengths which thus facilitated many goals!
The final quarter pushed us to a strong finishing score of 24-8!
After a few weeks off, this was a fantastic result especially with the horrific conditions!
Man of the Match: Nichole!! (Huge Congratulations)
