U18s Close In On League Title

Unfortunately, Cavan RFC were unable to field a team this week and a walkover victory was handed to the U18's. With their closest rivals City Of Derry losing unexpectedly at Newry, the only team left in the league who can mathematically challenge them is Ballynahinch. Fittingly, Ards visit Ballynahinch this coming Saturday 17th January and have a great chance to make themselves Champions Elect if they can take the points. Hinch's visit to Hamilton Park in the corresponding fixture before Christmas was a high quality and close fought encounter that left Hinch's appetite for the return leg well whetted.
