Midfielder McIlhagga returns to the squad after missing the last five matches recovering from operations on his feet. Jimmy made his return to action on Wednesday evening as Ards provided the opposition in a warm-up game for Harry McConkey's Regions Cup side.
Also likely to be back in the squad is full-back Kris Pike, who sat out the 4-0 win over Limavady two weeks ago with a slight knock. Ards are well depleted though with both Gary Spence and Andy Smith serving suspensions and the duo of Matty Burrows and Stephen Cockcroft both ineligible for the competition. Defenders Greg Hall and Davy McAlinden are still some way from being fit enough to return from their respective injuries.
Harland & Wolff Welders host the game at their Tillysburn Park venue, where results have traditionally been hard for Ards to come by. Ards haven't managed a win in East Belfast in their last four visits, although current form might suggest Ards go into the match as favourites.
The Welders haven't played a competitive game since mid-January when they were dumped out of the Irish Cup 5-1 at the hands of Glenavon, but the club do still maintain an interest in the Intermediate Cup courtesy of a win over Sport & Leisure Swifts. When Ards hosted the Welders in the corresponding league fixture in late November the outcome was a 2-1 win for Ards, with ex-midfielder Aaron McKee on the mark for Harland & Wolff. He may be joined on Saturday by another former Ards midfielder Sammy Devine, who moved from Larne during the transfer window.
Saturday's game, which was postponed from last week, is down for a 1.30pm kick-off and will be played to a finish with extra-time and kicks from penalty mark in the event of a draw. Institute await the winners in round 5 on 16th February.
A bus for Ards supporters will depart from Gibson's Lane at 12.45pm.
