Firstly an apology that I was away for 5 days over last weekend and didn't do a summary of the matches, and so was unable to CONGRATULATE ALL 4 MEN'S TEAMS on their victories and first clean sweep of wins this season. WELL DONE ALL, and can we have a few more before the season ends please.

It was always known that availability for the Ladies would be poor for today's four away games due to it being half term and other reasons, so we had to unfortunately conceded the 4's game. The day started well though with the 1's securing their best win of the season after the game being 1-1 at half time. However, the 2's had to play the League leaders and although they lost heavily, there was some excellent defending and several goal line clearances. The 2's also created a couple of chances and most of the team enjoyed the game against a very competent squad of talented players. Despite taking the lead, the 3's suffered a controversial equaliser and eventually lost by by three goals, which means they stay second from bottom in Division 2 and urgently need to win their four remaining league games. The full results were:

1's won 5-1 v Hendon & Hill 1's (A)
2's lost 0-11 v Hampstead & Westminster 3's (A)
3's lost 1-4 v PHC Chiswick 4 (A)
4's game conceded lost 0-2 v Ealing 2's (A)

No clean sweep this week for the men's sides, but two good wins, especially for the 3's. Unfortunately it was another defeat for the 2's and after being 3-0 up at half time, the 1's were pegged back to a 3-3 draw in the second half. The full results were:

1's drew 3-3 v Old Merchant Taylor's 1's (H)
2's lost 1-5 v Wallingford 2's (A)
3's won 8-1 v Slough Swifts 3's (H)
4's won 4-0 v Sutton Valence (H)
