Cup Group Game v Brockworth

A lovely morning for football once we had cleared all dog poo.
We faced a strong Brockworth team and knew it would be a tough game.

We had an early opportunity in just 30 seconds but just a minute later after good work from Jake and Chappers the Brockworth keeper made a good save but Harry Pounced onto the loose ball and stabbed it home from close range to open the scoring. Chappers and Brayden were really strong once again at the back and Jack looked very confident in goal.

Into the second quarter the game was well balanced. Brockworth had one very strong player but he was being kept quiet by Zach and Noah.
Midway though the quarter Noah made it 2-0 after some good tackling by Freddie.
We did concede just before half time but all was looking good.
Into the third quarter Jack was making some excellent saves and his kicking out of the hand was exceptional. Chappers was running the show down the right hand side and Brayden was having to work extra hard to stop any opposition breaks.
As we moved into th elast quarter we just started to back off Brockworth a bit and was punished when they equalised with 7 minutes left.
We kept going and Harry and Freddie had close range shots saved by their keeper and it ended 2-2.
