We have started well in our cup matches so far and this game was again going the same way.
We created a few chances early in and after just 5 minutes Jake got his first goal after good work from Chappers and Zach to make it 1-0. Jakes instructions from the Boss was to stay up front and dont cross the halfway line into our half and he carried out his instructions perfectly.
Just before the end of the first quarter we were awarded a penalty after Jake was fouled.
Chappers stepped up and smashed it home to make it 2-0.
Into the 2nd quarter Ozzie made some good saves and Will T fought hard in midfield.
We went 3-0 up soon after the break through Jake with his 2nd goal then we were awarded another penalty this time Chappers put it straight at the keeper but he made amends 3 minutes later with a great strike ti make it 4-0.
Wian and Sion came on and battled hard in midfield but we conceded for the first time just before the break to make it 4-1 at half time.
Into the 3rd Quarter Jake got his hat trick and we looked safe at 5-1 but then a wobble. We conceded twice in 3 minutes to make it 5-3 .
We had to work hard but in the last quarter Will completed his hat trick and Jake got another to make the final score 7-3. Thats 3 wins form 3 so we are in a strong position and another win in January v Frampton will see us through with 2 games left in the group.
Man of Match went to Chappers but everyone did their bit.
