Away v Frampton

What a beautiful morning for football.
We played 2 matches of 6 a side in order to give as much game time to all players.
We played 4 x 10 minute quarters to help coaching also.
Game 1
We quickly got into top gear and it was Harry that opened the scoring after a good ball through from Will T after just 2 minutes.
Jack had to make some good saves to keep us in front, but it was Harry again that cooly slotted the ball home after good work from Will C.
In the second quarter Frampton took more control of the game and we conceded just 2 minutes into the second quarter. Jack was again outstanding in goal and Brayden was breaking down most of the opposition attacks which he did most of the game.
Noah worked hard in midfield and had a couple of chances to extend our lead but it wasn`t until the 3rd quarter that we scored again through Jake who was really getting amongst the defenders and tackling hard
The last quarter was a stalemate with both sides going close but it ended 3-1 and Brayden was voted Man of the Match

Game 2
Once again we started well and as the first game we scored after 2 minutes with a brilliant strike from Jake after good work from Freddie. Frampton equalised in the 7th minute but we were not put off by that and Freddie scored after battling hard in the goal mouth to make it 2-1.
Jack was again diving all over the place keeping the ball safe and Wian and Sion were having a fantastic first ever match by intercepting a lot of Frampton attacks.
Zac worked hard both in midfield and defence . Frampton got a goal back in the 14th minute only to see us 2 minutes later score again with another thunderbolt from Jake.
Into the 3rd quarter Frampton kept their spirits up and clawed another goal back to make it 4-3 but in the last quarter we started to dominate and Freddie scored twice in 2 minutes to put the game out of reach of Frampton and it ended 6-3 with 2 hat tricks from Freddie and Jake.
Jake received Man of the Match
It was a lovely morning and all player s played well. A special mention to our debutants Sion and Wian who have improved so much and looked like they really enjoyed the game.
Next weeks game Away Rising Stars is 10.30am KO on SUNDAY . More details to follow
