Ashton Town are delighted to announce that Chris Stammers has joined the club, and joins Dave Dempsey's management team.(pictured L to R : Lee Bignell, Chris Stammers, Dave Dempsey)

He has managed at AFC Liverpool, Burscough Richmond, Clitheroe and Burscough FC with coaching spells at Bamber Bridge, Marine and Stockport Sports as well as professional level roles at Manchester United, Blackburn, Burnley and Bury academies.

Chris has also branched into the Women's game with coaching roles at Blackpool and Preston North End and has experience at youth and college level teams.
