It’s hard to move on from the monumental achievements of last season and the only thing that could even tempt us to move on is the prospect of the National League North.

The fixtures have been released and The Robins now know their fate as we host Nuneaton Borough on the opening day of the season (August 4th). The Robins first trip away from Hurst Cross in the league is a short one as we travel to FC United Of Manchester three days later. Ashton then travel to Kidderminster followed by two home games against York City and Brackley Town which completes our first five games.

Our first derby against Curzon Ashton will be played on Boxing Day away from home with the reverse fixture taking place on New Year’s Day at Hurst Cross. Another notable fixture against Stockport County see’s the Robins host County on December 1st and then we travel to Edgeley Park on the 16th March.

The Robins enter both cup competitions at a later round this year as a result of gaining promotion. Ashton enters the FA Cup at the second qualifying round on the 22nd September. The Robins also enter the FA Trophy at the 3rd qualifying round on the 24th November.

The Robins close out their campaign with a home game against a familiar opponent in Altrincham Town whom we contested to great games with last season.

It’s sure to be a historic campaign for Jody Banim’s side who will no doubt be looking to cement their place in Hurst Cross History.
