Ashton sign Liam Tomsett
Tomsett is the latest to become a Robin.
Ashton United is delighted to announce the signing of 24 year old midfielder Liam Tomsett.
The energetic central midfielder becomes the latest player to join Jody Banims promising squad for the 2017/18 season.
Tomsett spent eleven years at Blackpool football club having come through the clubs academy but after a series of loan spells at various levels he joined AFC Fylde at National League North level.
After a full season with Fylde notching up 33 appearances scoring 3 goals he joined Curzon Ashton.
With him he brings a wave of experience at higher levels of football and Jody will be looking to utilise that as The Robins push for promotion.
Tomsett's arrival brings the number of new signings for Jody's first full season in charge to five players and there may even be more new arrivals to announce.
