We are delighted to announce that the club has re-signed first team defender Domenico Maiese for the upcoming 2017/18 Evo-Stik League Northern Premier - Premier Division season!

Maiese is of Italian nationality and previously played for Italian giants Inter Milan. He played for the famous club since he was 14 years old and pushed through the ranks into the under 16s side. Inter Milan then loaned him out for the next two seasons and he was eventually sold permanently in 2009.

The 26-year-old now finds himself as one of the most important players in the Ashton United squad.
