2019-2020 season

With the new season officially starting on Monday 1st July, lots of things have been happening at the Shawfield Stadium and there is plenty to bring you up to date with over the next few weeks, prior to the 1st team fixtures starting on Saturday 3rd August 2019.

The header photo shows an aerial view of our new dugouts that are almost complete. The old ones on the east side of the ground as you look from the turnstile entrance, have been demolished and the brickwork removed. New ones are in the process of being completed on the opposite side of the pitch.

Works to upgrade the clubhouse are ongoing.

Following movement of football club staff, we will be introducing you to our new coaches across all three teams - 1st team, Reserves and the Under 18's - and we will be publishing the list of friendlies for all of our teams across July. We are also introducing, or "re-introducing" a Sunday team to play in the Aldershot & Camberley Sunday Football League - more details on that to follow too.

As some supporters may have already seen, or heard, Ash United have the honour of being the first Combined Counties League team to play newly elected Jersey Bulls, on the Island of Jersey, in a league Division One game on Saturday 3rd August, 2019. The complete list of Combined Counties League fixtures is not due to be published until around the middle of July.

As we mentioned in this piece at the start, there is much that is happening and we aim to report it through this web site during July.
