Ash United sought to turn around Saturday's disappointing performance at Walton & Hersham and the first home match against Bagshot provided the opportunity only 2 days later (not counting the day of the match, of course, before someone suggests that this report's author cannot count!!).
What would eventually unfold was not foreseen, although a better result than the previous Saturday's match was clearly required.
Cameron Bradbury, who, having come off at Walton before the end of the game, made up for his misfortune then by hitting Ash United's first goal on 12 minutes, following up by Jordan Devanney after 20 minutes, making it 2-0 to the Green Army. Luke Cairns added a third after 32 minutes and Jordan Devanney hit another to give him a brace on 40 minutes. Half-time, 4-0 to Ash United.
Into the second half and on 58 minutes Jordan Devanney secured his hat-trick, converting a penalty. Cameron Robertson added a sixth on 66 minutes and Cameron Bradbury collected his brace on 83 minutes with the seventh. Final score Ash United 7, Bagshot 0.
