All at the club were very sorry to hear of the passing of Doctor Don Wheatley on Tuesday 23rd March. Don will be remembered as an excellent family doctor for many years in Aspatria and the wider local community.
In addition , before retiring, Don also served as the club doctor on match days combining his professional expertise with a unique personality and sense of humour.
Memories of Don will be both numerous and colourful from all those who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Don's family at this sad time.
