The end of the season is finally in sight as Aspatria welcome Holmen Iggesund Cumberland League champions, Cockermouth Titans to Beacon Hill tomorrow in the final game of the season. It has been a long and frustrating season and both teams will be looking to put on a good display to cap off the year.

It is a significant day for Aspatria as the club celebrates the 130th anniversary of its foundation (the club was formed following a meeting on 17th October 1891) and 2021 also marks 10 years since the reformation of the club.

We are delighted to be welcoming Mike Smith, Vice-President of the RFL, and Roger Blair, Chairman of the Cumberland Rugby League, to the club as well as many of our sponsors and former players in what should be a great day.

Coach Okesene and Assistant Holliday are finalising the squad after a positive build up this week in training.

The match kicks-off at 2.30pm but the Letters will be open for drinks and a chance to reminisce before and after the game and the day will be capped off by our Senior Awards Evening from 6pm.
