A large band of intrepid Hornets juniors, accompanied by a large band of parents, grandparents and other family members, undertook a Sponsored Walk from Maryport to Allonby to raise funds for the club.

Conditions were excellent for the walk with little wind, warm temperatures and some, but not too much, sun.

The walk was around 4.75 miles and took a little under an hour and a half.

Many thanks to all those who participated and who have sponsored the walkers.

A special thanks to Mark Brown for driving the minibus which took the car drivers back to Maryport to collect their vehicles.
