Since there has been no senior rugby over the last couple of weeks, here is a round-up of what has been happening around the club and some dates for your diary.

The Junior Section has been very busy in August with all ages from Under 7s to Under 13s in action. The Under 11s (a mixed team of Under 10s and 11s) has come on leaps and bounds after working hard in training and thanks to the acquisition of some extra bodies.

The last Junior training session will be next Monday, 6th September.

Details on Junior Presentation Events will be communicated in due course.

The 1st XIII return to action with a tricky away trip to Seaton 2s this weekend and will be looking to build on the progress made this season under Coach Okesene.

Pitch improvements continue apace with the new playing surface looking magnificent thanks to the tireless efforts of Algie Reynolds.

130th Anniversary Celebration - Saturday, 16th October. We play Cockermouth Titans on this date and would love to see as many fans as possible attend. We would particularly like to see players from our first season back in action in 2011 attend so they can remind us just how much better rugby was back then...
