Aspatria Hornets were beaten at the weekend in their first game since 7th August. Despite the defeat, there was an air of optimism around the club given the performance and the gap since the last hit out.
Seaton 2s are an experienced team and claimed the spoils with a 38-16 win after leading 18-4 at the break.
The Aspatria points came from Captain, Stuart Creighton (2) and Luke Crossman with Rocco Okesene adding a brace of goals.
Ross Barton was named man-of-the-match after a superb display in the number 1 jersey.
Next up for Aspatria is the challenge of Maryport in a home fixture.
