ASTON EDWARDIAN ASSOCIATION - 88th COMMEMORATION & REUNION DINNER

The AOE Dinner Organising Committee, in conjunction with the school, is pleased to announce that this year's Dinner will again be held in the Colin Parker Building at KE Aston on Saturday 12th November 2022

Saturday 12th November 2022 at 7.00 for 7.30pm at the School

Dress: Black tie or Lounge Suit

The return of the dinner last year took place in the newly opened Colin Parker Building and was very well supported by the Old Boy Community. We are now well progressed with our plans for this year's Dinner, which we expect will be a sell-out (please book in early to avoid disappointment).

The single toast to ‘The School, Foundation and Association’ is to be proposed by our Principal Guest Speaker, James Hunt, a former school captain who left Aston in 2003 to study at Exeter and Cambridge. Since graduating James has worked in intelligence and political risk. In 2018, he co-founded Wallbrook, a consultancy which focuses on corruption and human rights issues in emerging markets. James will be speaking about his friend, and possibly the oldest living Aston Edwardian, centurion and Second World War veteran Jimmy Duff, whom we are expecting to be in attendance.
There will also be a post Dinner social event at Aston Edwardians club, please indicate if you are planning to join us there.

Finally, it is planned that both current and former members of the teaching staff will be in attendance.
If you would like to join in this social evening and renew old friendships or build new ones, please complete the reply slip below and return it by Friday 4th November to Terry Finn.

Please note that the school is entered from Upper Thomas Street entrance and for sat nav users, the school post code is B6 6DJ.

Please make every effort to come along and encourage your friends to attend whether AOEs or otherwise, of any generation!
