A massive three points on the road for Mitchell Thomson’s Adders last night as they tightened their grip on a top five spot. The first-half was evenly matched, but after the break there was only one side in it. The Adders stepped it up a gear and took control. Jack Edwards broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half, and from that moment on it felt like a matter of time. With the hosts trying to push for an equaliser, Roan Newey marked his return in style, finishing off a slick move deep into injury time to seal the win and send the three points back to Warwickshire. There’s still plenty of work to do and some huge games ahead, but this group is showing real character. Now it’s over to us…….
