Marshfield won the toss and elected to bat, but were restricted to just 107 in their 20 overs, Avebury using their 9 bowlers effectively and Tom Garbett, Will Carter, Tom King, Seb Selby and Oliver Knowlson sharing the wickets, Oliver taking 3-12 in 3 overs. In reply, Seb Selby and Oli Clark attacked with purpose in the powerplay, racing to 61 in the first 6 and making light work of the chase. In 28 degree heat, this was probably a good outcome for everyone!
