The match was originally rearranged for the Monday just gone, but due to wet weather over the weekend the pitch wasn't playable.
After a dry few days the pitch is now in perfect condition as Aveley play host to their former tenants Romford this evening with the game kicking off at 7.45pm.
Aveley will be seeking revenge on their opponents after suffering a 2-1 defeat earlier in the season at Ship Lane, Thurrock, and they will be looking to bounce back after a poor performance on Saturday against Needham Market.
Aveley will also be welcoming top goal-scorer Jordan Cox back into the side after he served a two match suspension for his sending off against Grays Athletic, and new signing Alex Read is also in the squad and is set to make his debut for the club against one of his former employers.
