Jake joined the Millers back in October 2018 from Canvey Island having spent the previous five seasons with the Gulls, playing 146 times and winning Supporters Player of the Season in 2015/16 and the Managers Player of the Season in the 2017/18 season.

He originally joined Canvey Island playing as a central midfielder but he was moved to play at right back where he shone for the Gulls, helping them to the play-off final last season, and just missing out on promotion against Haringey Borough.

Prior to Pitty joining Canvey Island he featured for Chelmsford City, and now the 22-year-old joins the Millers, and brings with him experience playing in the Bostik Premier with Canvey for three seasons and then helped to reach the 2017/18 Bostik North play-offs.
