Fresh from our 5-0 win away at Witham Town, Miller's gaffer; Justin Gardner, gives us his assessment of the victory.

The Miller's have made a good start to 2016 in the Ryman North with four clean sheets out of five matches, with three wins and a draw. “Since the turn of the year I have been very happy with how we have played in all of the matches. Against Harlow Town we had a lot of players unavailable and we done very well considering we had five of our attacking players missing.”

“We trained really well in the build up to our match against Witham and recent weeks, they are understanding what is being asked of them.”

“At the moment we just want to go one match at a time, try and put pressure on the teams above us and just see where it leaves us come the end of the season.”

“What pleased me about the Witham Town results was that we wanted more goals and up until the last minute we was trying to score.”

"All good teams need that ruthless streak in them, and I think we showed that against Witham."

David Fallah came on and within 40 seconds he scored with his first touch to control and second to score, he then went on to nod from close range to bag his second of the match and 9th for the season. With that introduction, Miller's gaffer Justin Gardner joked “Not a bad sub from the Aveley manager”. But carried on to say “We all know how good [David] Fallah is. When he is fit, he is unplayable”

The man David Fallah replaced was recent addition, Michael Pindy who has also impressed Gardner. “Very pleased with Pindy, he gets the ball a lot, and should score more but that will come with his confidence growing.”

Next up for the Miller's is an away trip against Haringey Borough at Tilbury, on Tuesday Night.
