Aveley Football Club is delighted to announce that youth side midfielder, Louis Reynolds has signed a year long contract with the Club. Louis signed the contract this week, the week on his 18th birthday and the same week he made his Millers first team debut.
Louis started at the club in the U16's squad making his way though the u18's, reserves and now into the first team after being named in Brett Munyard's squad this week in a 3-1 win away from home against EFL outfit, Colchester United, in the BBC Essex Cup. Louis made his first appearance 54 minutes into our County Cup fixture when the Millers were 3-0 up. Louis' made his way onto the pitch with Colchester United's stadium announcer mentioning this being his debut the day before his 18th birthday. He even came close to scoring on his first team debut after a strike towards the end of the game going just over the bar.
After the fixture at Colchester United, Louis said, "buzzing to get my first start", "what a pitch", and in style ended with "up the Millers".
Club Chairman, Craig Johnson, has also commented on this news.
"I am delighted to see one of our own get a contract with the club and I hope that many more follow for years to come. Many thanks to Scott Johnson, Micky Arnold and all of of our youth managers and coaches who continue to excel."
Louis will be an integral part of the first team and is hoped a catalysis for all of our youth team players.
Happy birthday Louis, and congratulations on your contract with the club!
