...Junior Baker.
It really could've gone to anyone or even the whole team, but with the last 35 minutes of the game everything Thurrock tried with long balls and long throw-ins pumped into the box, Junior Baker was at the heart of clearing and gettig everything away.
George Essuman at a young age could've been susceptible against an experienced Ross Wall, but he also was superb as he cleared everything away and the last two games has formed a good partnership with Junior Baker with the absence of Spencer Harrison.
Paul Preston showed good recovery as he kept Thompson out of the the game from the first minute to the last.
Alex Stavrinou and Jack Stevenson linked up together again to a high standard, Alex got an assist with Elbi's second goal. Where as Jacks killer balls caused Thurrock havoc at the back.
Theo Ola provided that spark and change of pace which every side needs going forward. He had three shots one that was finger tipped saved onto the post. Then in the second half he won a penalty for the Millers.
Marcus Elliott tracking back and commitment to the cause was different class. His battling performance and willingness to put his body on the line for the cause ended up with him having a fractured cheek bone.
Petrit Elbi scored the two goals and was unlucky not to get three or ever four but saves from Thurrock's keeper denied him.
However Junior Baker was superb and helped the team keep a clean sheet and was singled out by the opposition fans and manager as the man of the match.
