Aveley Football Club are pleased to announce that the their New Manager is Alan Kimble.

Alan impressed on interview, and has been selected from a plethora of applications, recieved from far and wide.

Joining Alan will be his twin brother Garry as Assistant Manager.

Alan has had an illustrious professional playing career that has seen him rack up more than 550 league appearances, before joining the backroom staff at Ebbsfleet, where he worked for 4 years as Assistant Manager.

In selecting Alan for this position Millers Chairman Graham Gennings said 'We were looking for a hungry applicant, somebody that has a desire to improve our club and continue the foundations we have built over the past few seasons. We are realistic at Mill Field to know that if we are successful as a club, then our players, and ultimately our Manager will place themselves in the shop window. Just as Rod Stringer has sucessfully achieved. I beleive in selecting Alan for this role, we have made the right choice, and I wish him well as he starts off a new chapter in his footballing life.'
