On Saturday afternoon the Miller's were defeated by Tilbury 4-0 but the match didn’t go by without controversy and Miller's boss shares the same view as our fans that a penalty should’ve been awarded at 0-0 a minute before the Dockers had their own penalty.
“Yes, I thought we should’ve had a possible two penalties. The one for handball was nailed on, but not given. I thought the referee nd us as a team had one thing in common and we both didn’t have a good game.”
Although the decisions didn’t go Aveley’s way Justin accepts that the Dockers deserved their victory “But saying that, I don’t think we deserved anything from the match and Tilbury deserved the three points.”
“The front three were quiet but thought the only player to come out the game with any positives was Andres [Tobon].”
“But again, I don’t want to take anything away from Tilbury but we gifted them three goals that was down to poor defending.”
“These young lads held their hands up and we go again Saturday against Hornchurch with no pressure on us and just want the lads to not let themselves down and believe in what they can do”
