Steve has made 19 appearances for Barkingside this season and has scored an impressive 7 goals from midfield. He can also play as a winger but more importantly a number 10 role which Millers have lacked in the past few games.

Justin Gardner expressed his delight with his new addition to the squad as he said "Steven (Carvell) is someone I've admired for a while. He's a young, talented, hungry player, who has an eye for goal."

Justin went onto to say "He's the type of player that Aveley fans should be delighted about, he has so much ambition. He's had a good learning curve at Barkingside, but now I hope with Aveley we can take him to that next level of football"

Carvell will go straight into the squad for our next game at home to Burnham Ramblers.
