Aveley FC can announce that we have signed Jack Edwards on loan from Billericay Town.

Jack Edwards joins the Millers on a two month loan spell, with an option to extend it.

Jack [Edwards], started his career in Southend United's youth academy after rejecting Colchester United, the player became captain of the youth team in his time at the club. But didn't get a chance under Phil Brown which saw him leave in 2014.

He then went on to join Billericay Town but now joins the Millers on loan.

Millers boss, Justin Gardner was pleased to bring him to the club.

"I am pleased to announce we have brought in Jack [Edwards] to Mill Field on an initial two month loan deal".

"He is a good player, who I rate. He has good experience being captain for Southend United's youth side."

"It will take him a few games to get up to speed of our play, but I'm sure he will be a valuable signing".

Everyone would like to welcome Jack and hope he enjoys his spell at Mill Field.

He is in contention for a place in the squad for tomorrow's visit to Thurrock FC.
