For me it has to go to Sammy Knott. The team performance was good but for individual performance for me Sammy Knott his great positioning throughout the game and defensively he was good against a more experienced and higher level wingers.
His passing and crossing into the box was also as per usual at a high standard. He made good runs forward into the box which almost led to the goal but for a good save by Billericay Town keeper Cancar.
In the second half he also saved a certain goal as he sprinted back from a chased down kick off Marrable, and Knotty did well to clear the ball rolling to the goal.
Junior Baker was his usual self and again put his body on the line and helped keep the scoreline down.
Petrit Elbi scored yet again, as he took his goal really well which he curled calmly into the bottom corner. He also held the ball up well for wingers Danny Francis and Theo Ola who both made good runs down the wings.
Danny Francis was looking sharp and has been since he's been back in the side. He was unlucky on Saturday as he made good runs but just wasn't given the ball. But Monday's game he played really and almost scored but for his deflected shot going wide.
James Marrable played well as always and put his body on the line when he charged out and did well to clear the ball in fifty fifty challenges with Ricky Sappleton.
Billy Holland and Alex Stavrinou also played well with their good passing. Both came close to scoring as well as Billy hit the post twice in the first half, and Alex shot from a corner was saved and blocked by Cancar and Poole.
It was also good to see Tarryn Allarakhia get minutes for the first team the last two games. Great to see that if you work hard you'll get a chance to get in the first team at Aveley FC.
