Millers win performance of the month

We have won this with our performance away at Histon in the FA Cup, in which we defeated the Southern Premier League side 5-1.

We went into a 2-0 lead at the break, two goals from James Peagram the difference, one was a wonderfully cushioned header into the top corner and the other saw him chip Histon's keeper of his line.

Histon got a goal back, but the Millers continued their dominance. A fine left footed strike from Billy Holland put the game to bed. Lee Prescott added to the scoreline with a low and hard free-kick which sneaked past the Histon keeper once more. Aveley rounded off the victory with a last minute goal, Marcus Elliott outmuscled his marker and squeezed it in from a narrow angle.
