Gio signs for the Millers on a permanent transfer from fellow Isthmian League side Dulwich Hamlet. Palmer also had spells at Barking, Romford, Hanwell Town and Hendon before making the move to South-East London. He also played for Farnham Town where he won the Isthmian League South Central Division with 102 points during the 2024/25 season.

Gio has said that he is "really excited to be on board and I can't wait to get on the field with the boys as we look to achieve our goals for the season ahead".

Millers Manager, Brett Munyard has also commented on the signing of Giovanni Palmer. Munyard has said, “Gio is a player we identified during the season. He has unbelievable speed and power; both his performances against us this season really caught our eye. We are delighted to have him here.”
