We are delighted to announce the signing of Owen Cochrane on loan from League One side Stevenage.

The defender joined The Millers ahead of our game away at Tonbridge Angels and made his debut playing the full game in the 1-1 draw.

Owen, 19, joined Stevenage as an Under 14, progressing through the Academy to make his EFL debut against Salford City in December 2021. And went on to sign his professional contract in July 2023. Owen has also had loan spells at Kettering Town and Potters Bar Town across the last two seasons.

We look forward to seeing more of Owen in an Aveley kit!
